GEICO's headquarters office and regional office in Fredericksburg, Va., hold an employee fundraising campaign each year specifically for Children’s National. This employee-driven campaign has seen considerable growth over the past 28 years, starting at $10,000 and growing to more than $100,000 per year from the campaign and the GEICO Philanthropic Foundation. In total, GEICO and its employees have donated more than $1 million to Children’s National.

"We have a 36-year history of supporting the hospital, which has proven to be a wonderful community asset," said Tony Nicely, GEICO's chairman, president, and CEO. "Some of our own associates’ families have been cared for at Children’s."

In addition to their generous financial donations, GEICO's employees volunteer with the Teens Against the Spread of AIDS (TASA) program at Children’s.
