While Children’s National Medical Center appreciates all gifts, large and small, we are particularly indebted to those donors who make gifts of $10,000 more, qualifying them to join our Children’s Circle of Care.
When you become a Children’s Circle of Care member, you will:
- Join a prestigious regional and national network of benefactors who share your passion for helping children live long and healthy lives;
- Get an insider’s look at the impact of your gift, through events with physicians, researchers, and other philanthropists;
- Receive invitations to special family events such as our recent program at the National Zoo (see photos of Circle of Care families enjoying this unique behind-the-scenes peek at the zoo)
- Set an example for other philanthropists and encourage them to join this important cause;
- Be invited to the annual North American Children’s Circle of Care Leadership Conference gala and celebration held in a different city each spring.

Nationally, Children’s Circle of Care is made up of major donors to 19 of the most prominent children’s hospitals, including Children’s National Medical Center. The mission of the national organization is to advance philanthropy and educate and recognize leading benefactors.
The only requirement for membership is to make a cash gift of $10,000 or more in the calendar year. (A gift made any time between January and December 2009 will make you a 2009 Children’s Circle of Care member.) Gifts can be designated for a particular purpose. Unrestricted donations are also needed, because they support all areas of patient care and research and allow Children’s to cover the costs of the most urgent needs at any time.
Please express your commitment to children by joining Children’s Circle of Care with a gift of $10,000 or more. Join online or find out more from Brent Thomas by email or phone 301-565-8509.
