Be Brave and Shave: Heroes Against Cancer

On Jan. 8, 2010, His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, the ambassador from the United Arab Emirates to the United States, shaved his head to raise money for the cancer programs at Children's National Medical Center. As part of the Be Brave & Shave initiative, launched this year, the ambassador raised $275,000 and generously matched that amount, bringing the total to $550,000 to benefit children with cancer.
