2009 Kohl’s Cares for Kids campaign raises valuable funds for children’s health services in Washington area.
At a ceremony held at the Children’s Health Project of DC’s annual holiday party in Washington, DC’s southeast neighborhood on Dec. 14, Kohl’s Department Stores presented a check for $432,641 Children’s National Medical Center.
Kohl’s Associates arrived prior to the event with hundreds of toys collected from regional Kohl’s department stores. The group personally wrapped each gift before handing them out to the children. Others who donated gifts and participated in the celebration were Washington Wizard Caron Butler, radio/TV personality Jeannie Jones, the Grant My Wish Foundation, and others.
